About Vivian

Vivian Wang is a beauty professional based out of Brooklyn, New York. She started out as a self-taught makeup artist heading the hair and makeup departments on student film sets at NYU Tisch, and received her certification from the Master Makeup Artistry program at ChicStudios in the spring of 2017. After four years of experience as a freelance makeup artist and the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, she expanded her education and graduated with high honors from Atelier Esthétique Institute of Esthetics in 2021.

After earning her certification, Vivian dedicated a year and a half to offering facials, eyebrow/eyelash services, and makeup applications and lessons at Cobble Hill's clean beauty "hot spot", SHEN Beauty, specializing in manual extractions and the treatment of acne-prone and sensitive skin types. With an approach that considers her clients' individual concerns, lifestyles, and personal preferences, her continued experience highlights an overall shift in focus to helping clients enhance, maintain, and, most importantly, embrace their natural beauty.

Vivian is now a brow stylist at Michael Hair Salon in Park Slope, where she continues sharing her passion for skincare and other beauty services as tools of self-care and empowerment. She takes pride in her work with a diverse clientele, and remains committed to developing her knowledge and skills within the ever-changing and growing beauty industry.
